Our School of Sanctuary Pledge:

Westminster is committed to being a welcoming and safe place for all. We are not just a sanctuary for those whose lives were in danger, but to any pupils who are experiencing difficulties at home or are just needing a place to feel secure and safe. We take pride in the provision that is already in place to ensure that our curriculum promotes diversity and inclusion. 

At Westminster, we support the ‘City of Sanctuary’ vision that the UK will be a welcoming place of safety for all and proud to offer sanctuary to people fleeing violence and persecution. We endorse the City of Sanctuary Charter and agree to act in accordance with City of Sanctuary values and apply the network principles within our work. We recognise the contribution of people seeking sanctuary in our community. Sanctuary seekers are welcomed, included and supported within our school.
